Our vision is o be one of the leading companies in marketing and sales of mainly family-produced wines that guarantee quality, origin and personality and in close collaboration with our principals we wish build the brand on the Swedish market.
To build brands on a long term basis on the Swedish market. This means sales and marketing activities toward both the HORECA and the end consumer. To enable us to make marketing investment in the brand we work hard to have permanent listings at the monopoly.
We have a long history of selling and marketing quality wines since the late 1970. First as an agent, but since 1995 we act as an importer and distributor. Historically specialized in quality wine from France and we still represent some of the most eminent producers from the most important wine regions. Today we have expanded and now represent leading producers from all over the world, including the new-world wines. We are a skilled team of combined sales and marketing people who are all well experienced within the restaurant trade and with great gastronomic knowledge. This has enabled us to promote our wines in a very attractive and efficient way to the private consumer, and has helped up gained a great relationship with well-known wine journalists as well as leading restaurant nationwide, this, along with a close relationship to the purchasing department at the monopoly, Systembolaget.
The Swedish alcohol-retail market is a Monopoly controlled by the Government though its distributor Systembolaget. This represents the major sales opportunity for well established importers, such as Ward Wines. There are around 300 importers in the country, where the top 40 supply more than 80% of the monopoly’s sales.
We are an important supplier of quality wines to the On-trade through these wholesalers who plays a key role in our brand building.
