Ward Wines - Importer of the year 2021
Each year, the leading Swedish wine industry magazine Allt om Vin arranges "Årets Vinare", an award ceremony where wines are honored in different categories. The most prestigious award is the Wine Importer of the Year, a prize that is given to the wine importer who made a statement and made a significant difference in the Swedish market.

Classic and high-quality wines with breadth and depth
The jury consists of several of Sweden's most experienced and leading wine writers, who gather their assessments and as a group, nominate a winning candidate.
Ward Wines has been awarded Wine Importer of the Year 2021, with the following motivation:
"With confidence and strong leadership, consistently supplying the Swedish market with classic and high-quality wines with breadth and depth year after year. An importer with an obvious and clearly defined profile, always delivering something special."

Best wines of the show
Ward Wines was founded in the early 80's as agent for French wineries. Since 2000 the strategy has been to represent family-owned wine producers with an international presence and focus on quality and origin. Some of the wineries that have been involved since the start are Pol Roger, Trimbach and Château Mont-Redon. This is the second time Ward Wines has been awarded (most recently in 2015), something that makes us extra proud and convinced to continue our work with the same focus.
